Membership

In our congregation, full and supporting members can participate in all aspects of congregational life

Certain religious duties and voting rights are reserved for full members.

Full membership is open to those recognized as Jewish according to Jewish tradition—that is, through a Jewish mother or via conversion before a rabbinical court (Bet Din).

Individuals with a Jewish father are warmly welcomed as supporting members and are part of our community. We also welcome non-Jewish family members who wish to get involved.

Children with a non-Jewish parent may participate in religious education, provided both parents consent and support a Jewish upbringing. We clarify Jewish status jointly prior to a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Services

Beth Shalom accompanies its members through all stages of life—in everyday life as well as during special moments. This includes regular services and the observance of all Jewish holidays, from Rosh Hashanah to Simchat Torah. You can find an overview in our *Luach* → [calendar].

Cemetery

Beth Shalom enables its members to be buried in accordance with Jewish religious regulations. Burial plots in Section 477b of the new part of the Munich Waldfriedhof (Forest Cemetery) are available for this purpose.

Calendar (Luach)
