In Honor or Memory of Someone

Our synagogue has a wall with yizkor plaques that are dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust as well as the deceased relatives of our members. Please let us know if you would like to add a plague to the wall by sending an email to office(at)beth-shalom.de . We request a donation of 25 Euro to facilitate this process. The payment can be directly wired to the following account. Please specify that the donation is for a “Yizkor Plaque”.

Tree of life

Beth Shalom also offers the option to donate to the community in honor of an individual/group or a special occasion. You can donate either a silver leaf (108 Euro. This is 6 times the number 18, which represents the Hebrew symbol Chai meaning “life”) or a gold leaf (504 Euro, which is 28 times the number 18) to be added to our beautiful “tree of life”.

A donation to the tree of life is a perfect way to visibly commemorate a special occasion. A leaf can contain up to 100 letters that can be used to describe the occasion. Donations for leaves can be made by wiring either a donation of 108 or 506 Euro to the following account. Please specify that the donation is for the “tree of life”. Additionally please send the message that should be engraved on the leaf directly to office(at)beth-shalom.de.
